BIG BUCK & BEAR CONTEST RULES

  BUCK RULES

1. Participants must enter the contest prior to submitting animals for measurement. 

2. Must be hunted in D6 zone. 

3. Must present current hunting license.

4. Must present appropriate, completed animal tag. 

5. Must present driver's license.

6. Animals will be measured at S.G.S by staff and photographed.  The widest point of the antlers will be measured. All measurements are final. 

7. ARCHERY and RIFLE entries are separate.

  BEAR RULES

1. Participants must enter the contest prior to submitting animals for measurement. 

2. Must be hunted in X8, X9, X12 or D6 zones. 

3. Must present current hunting license.

4. Must present appropriate, completed animal tag. 

5. Must present driver's license.

6. Animals will be measured at S.G.S by staff and photographed.  The front paw will be measured. All measurements are final. 

7. ARCHERY and RIFLE entries are combined.

Archery Registration deadline: September 8 @ 6 pm

Rifle Registration deadline: November 2 @ 6 pm

Winners in each category!

Contestants in all categories will be entered in a RANDOM DRAW for a THREE NIGHT STAY at the "Camp Leland" Tiny Cabin in Leland Meadows ($500 approximate value).  *Black-out dates apply. Cleaning deposit required. Winner will coordinate with the property owner to secure dates.

Winners will be announced on social media one week after the end of the specific season.
