Cashier

We’re looking for a FRIENDLY, RELIABLE CASHIER who enjoys working with people and takes pride in our small mountain community. Our ideal candidate is someone who smiles easily, loves to help, and understands the importance of a warm first impression. As a cashier, you’re often the first and last person a customer sees — and that makes you a VERY important part of our team!

Cashier  |  20 +/-  hours per week  |  $18.50 / hour

Projected Midweek Shifts:  8:30 am - 12:30 pm • 11:30 am - 3:30 pm • 3:15 pm - 7:15 pm

Projected Weekend Shifts:  8:30 am - 12:30 pm • 11:30 am - 3:30 pm • 4:15 pm - 8:15 pm​

 

What you'll do

​

• Greet every customer with a smile and friendly upbeat attitude

• Become familiar with local conditions and recreation; answer customer questions

• Answer questions about products and help customers find what they need

• Operate the register and accurately handle cash and card transactions

• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked

• Rotate between the register and daily tasks 

• Become cross-trained in all roles to help out where needed

 

What We’re Looking For

• A genuinely friendly, helpful personality — great first impressions are a must!

• Self-starting team player

• Attention to detail and comfort with handling money

• Basic computer/register skills (training provided)

• Willingness to pitch in with other tasks to keep things running smoothly

• Availability during the 3 Big Summer Holidays and month of July
